On March 13th, we had our very first appointment with our actual doctor. I ran straight from work. Teddy was waiting for me in the waiting room. We sat and waited, but we didn't hear our name called. I had to go to the bathroom... bad. So I quickly decided to use the bathroom BEFORE someone began pushing on my abdomen. When I was done, they called us back. And alas, they needed me to provide a urine sample. Of course... I opted to wait till the end of the appointment, because I was sure I would have to go again very soon.
After the initial check up, the doctor arrived to do the ultrasound. :) We were very excited. This ultrasound was much clearer and we could see tiny fingers and toes. The doctor was very sweet and with amusement, he pointed out that our little one was resting belly down on the placenta like a pillow. It looked as if our baby was in a crawling position. "There's a little baby bum there!" the doctor said pointing to the little baby bottom humorously sticking up in the air. It was an amusing sight. :) Our first ultrasound, the baby would not stop moving, this ultrasound our baby was in an interesting position... This was proving to be an interesting adventure. :)
